Regenmaker® Consulting was founded by Dr. Roger Hage, an electrical engineer, inventor, university lecturer, veteran in international business development, expert in IT/Telecom, and speaking 5 languages. He perfectly bridges the divide between East and West, between Technology & Sales and between the Traditional and the Digital Economy. Dr. Roger Hage

President & Founder

Roger has 26 years of professional experience in Telecommunications and Medtech industries. He held senior management positions at  multinationals like ERICSSON, AASTRA, KAPSCH, FREQUENTIS and  AVL List as Sales Unit head, Vice President Business Development, Senior Sales Manager, Global Portfolio Marketing Manager and Product Manager, where he successfully designed and implemented strategies to develop new markets and value offerings in Europe, Middle East and Africa, hence growing the business under different market conditions and mastering full business cycles: fast growth as well as downturns. He was the author of several successful innovative high impact initiatives.

 

Roger holds a PhD and Masters in Electrical Engineering/Electronics & Telecommunications, is an inventor of one US and EU patent and used to lecture Statistics & Information Systems at the University of Applied Sciences IMC Krems between 1999 and 2005. He is a technology evangelist, influencer, trainer, strategist and a frequent speaker at international  conferences.

 

Roger also designed & held customized sales boot camps for Aastra Technologies' partners in Abu Dhabi, Istanbul and Johannesburg and developed e-learning courses for channel partners.

 

He is Regenmaker's principle consultant and trainer specializing in market entry & growth strategy, business model innovation, and technical-sales performance improvement for telecom (fixed, mobile, broadband) and IT (networking, software, cloud services) vendors. He currently lectures "Business & Project Development" for the International Business & Export Management master degree program at the University for Applied Sciences FH IMC Krems, "Training the Salesforce" for the Global Sales Management master degree program at the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria FH OOE, as well as "Strategic & Organizational Aspects of International Expansion" for the master degree programme International Marketing & Sales Management at the University of Applied Sciences FH Campus02

 

Roger is member of the "Austrian Economic Chamber" and the "Foreign Policy and United Nations Association of Austria" (UNA-AUSTRIA). He speaks fluent German, English, French, Spanish and Arabic
